Rotary Club of Rancho Bernardo Sunrise
Currently the home club of the District Governor 5340, Jeb Bakke, as well as Rotarian of the Year Jim Roth, District Governor Carl Kruse (2013-2014) and 2025 Rotary International's Service Above Self award winner, Trudy Armstrong. We are a fun-loving group of 54 volunteer leaders dedicated to perfecting the practice of Service Above Self. Rancho Bernardo Sunrise received from Rotary International the coveted Presidential Citation in 2007, 2009 and 2010, and most recently received a 2025 Club of Excellence award. We are the perfect combo of fun-loving, easy-going, and always ready to accomplish important goals!

As part of District 5340, we are part of the encompassing 67 clubs in San Diego and Imperial Counties, driven by a passion for service and a commitment to meaningful impact.

Who do we serve?
We're deeply involved in a diverse range of projects, from supporting local initiatives like Solutions for Change, Ride Above Disability, and Anvil of Hope to international efforts such as home building through Project Mercy and Polio Plus. Through educational, humanitarian, and cultural programs, we touch lives and create positive change, both locally and globally.
