RB Sunrise Events
This coming weekend is a busy one for our club. Two events are described below.
Valley Elementary Gift Fair
On Saturday morning, our club is partnering with the PTA at Valley Elementary School on Bowron Road in Poway for their annual gift fair. This is a hands on event for our club. We arrive at 8:00 am to set up and decorate the all purpose room at the school. Our club supplies breakfast items such as donuts, cold cereal, milk, bananas and coffee. We also provide gift items from which the children can choose. The PTA and our club have crafts for the children to make. We also have gift wrapping available. Please sign up for a shift. It is a rewarding experience.
RB Sunrise Holiday Party
On Sunday, Dec 4 at 4 pm, we are to gather at Craig Brown's residence for our annual holiday party. Again this year the party will be a potluck affair. Sign up at our meeting tomorrow for what you will be bringing so that some planning can be done. Also, of course, bring an unwrapped gift item for the silent and open auction. The open auction is always a hilarious and entertaining after dinner time as auctioneer Mike Moffat leads the way. If you haven't been to a holiday party, this is an event you don't want to miss.
