RB Sunrise Past President Craig Brown was recognized for his continuing support of the Rotary Foundation. A Paul Harris Fellowship Award (PHF) is presented to any member who donates $1000 to the Rotary Foundation. On May 1, Craig was presented with a PHF+8 Award Pin indicating that since receiving his initial award, Craig has contributed an additional $8000 to the Rotary Foundation. It is the ongoing support of donors like Craig that provide the finances that change lives around the world. In the photo above, 2016-17 RB Sunrise Rotary President Craig Brown is holding a banner that was actually earned by RB Sunrise Rotary for the 2016 - 17 Rotary year, but not received by the district until recently. District Governor Elect Mel Gallegos presented the banner to Craig and thanked the club for their support of the Rotary Foundation, The banner is given to clubs who achieve the goal of having a per member contribution to the Rotary Foundation of at least $100 per member with 100% participation.
