The assignment for the Who Am I includes providing the positive thought at the beginning of the meeting and introducing guests and visiting Rotarians during the meeting.
The member assigned to Rotary Minute/ Cheer for Rotary is the assigned Greeter for that day and also is tasked with selling opportunity drawing tickets.
RB Sunrise Rotary will be sponsoring a house building project on November 7. Now is the time to get prepared for this hands on international club project. The event will start in the early morning. Participants (club members and familiy members) will be spending the entire day in Tijuana. Club members are reminded that a passport is necessary to re-enter the United States at the border crossing. In past house build projects, participants have remarked about how rewarding this experience was for them.
Rancho BEERnardo
The funds are still coming in, but we know that despite the hot weather that caused a sharp drop in ticket sales in the last few days, our Rancho BEERnardo event went well. We had over 400 people attend and raised over $45,000. Apparently a great number of attendeees used the LYFT tickets to get to and from the beer tasting. We have had a great deal of positive feedback. Thanks to the great group effort of so many club members, this year's event was a great success.
