WE DID IT AGAIN! Our fundraising event last Saturday was a great success! Final numbers aren't yet available, but initial feedback was very positive again this year. Our guests were pleased and enjoyed our event. The music was great. The weather again this year cooperated. Interestingly cooler, overcast weather moved in on Sunday for the second year in a row! Our thanks goes out to the volunteers who helped. We had a large number volunteers from the Rotary Club of Rancho Bernardo (the noon club). We appreciate all the help they provided. Again this year our club demonstrated that we know how to hold a great event. I know that there were many guest who returned this year because they have enjoyed our event in the past. Registration ran smoother this year. Most of guests came with tickets in hand. Surprisingly a majority of those who were buying tickets at the entrance paid cash!. There were credit card sales as well and that operation ran smoothly. The number of guests who arrived with repurchased tickets shows that our festival is a mature event. Rancho BEERnardo is continuing to be a successful thanks to the hard work of everyone who participated during the event. Our Rancho BEERnardo steering committee especially deserve our special thanks for planning and executing another great event. |
