Program for Tuesday, Oct 6, 2015
There is no program for this meeting because it is a scheduled club assembly. We are scheduled to have the required ABC board training for all volunteers who will be at the Rancho BEERnardo event this coming Saturday. The training is now only good for one year and since last year's event was in late September, everyone who is volunteering has to attend a training session.

The Millions For HOPE Foundation Gala on October 17, 2015 promises to be a spectacular evening, headlined by special guest Rotary International President K.R. "Ravi" Ravindran. This black tie optional event will take place at the Del Mar Fairgrounds - Mission Tower, and feature an evening of inspiration, entertainment, food, wine and dancing. Register by October 7 in order to be seated with your club members. This event is open to the public.
Admission to the gala of the year is only $85, thanks to the generosity of sponsors including Citizens Business Bank. Don't miss out, and reserve your seats today by clicking here.
RB Sunrise Rotary is going to cover half of the cost for anyone from our club including spouses for this event. This is a chance to enjoy a fun evening at this event and also learn about what great things the Rotary Foundation is doing. Foundation events are a great way to be inspired about being a Rotarian!

On Saturday, Oct 3, 17 people from RB Sunrise Rotary converged on the Sikes Adobe Farmstead for our annual cleanup project to get the site ready for Rancho BEERnardo IPA Festval. Club members trimmed trees, revarnished picnic tables, raked the ground to smooth it out and sanded and painted the floor of the porch that is on the south end of the building. Other members also cleaned up the south end of the parking lot. Ralph Barbee set up the parking lot so that we can fit as many cars as possible this year. ( Not shown in the photo above were Steve Smith and his son.)
There is going to be more seating opportunities this year and the beer tasting stations will be spread out to make it easier to get to them. Also there will be more food, a beer themed store and more.
Note: Date joined Rotary reflects only the date of a member's most recent induction into RB Sunrise Rotary.
